Survey on experiences of discrimination at the University of Tübingen

Discrimination based on various categories is (still) a part of our society. The universities are not excluded from this. Stigmatizing incidents also occur every day at the University of Tübingen – whether in seminar or zoom rooms, in meetings or lecture halls or university libraries.

In cooperation with the ver.di/GEW university group Tübingen, we would like to use this survey (which is also available in English) to find out to what extent discrimination is part of Tübingen university life in order to find spaces for exchange, to organize countermeasures and to be able to design a more tolerant university life. Therefore, this survey is aimed at all university members of the University of Tübingen: students, academic staff, lecturers, professors and other employees.

The personal information is anonymized or pseudonymized, only used for this research purpose and not passed on to third parties.
We expressly point out that participation is voluntary.
